How Can YOU Learn the Skills Necessary for Algebra?

  • Resource #1: Video Tutorials
  • Learn Algebra concepts quickly with video tutorials for EVERY lesson. You'll spend less time trying to teach yourself - as you are guided step by step through several examples for each concept.

Your stress will melt away and your grades will soar as you develop a thorough understanding of each concept. It's like having your own personal tutor AND you can study at times which are convenient for you!

  • Resource #2: Guided Notes Worksheets
  • With a notes worksheet designed specifically for each individual lesson, you will be able to make productive use of your time spent watching the videos. While viewing the videos, you will work right along with me by taking notes on your worksheet. Organized notes will allow you to easily complete your classwork and study for tests. No more hunting around for step by step examples to help you finish your problems.

  • Resource #3: Practice Problems
  • Develop greater confidence with Algebra skills after completing numerous practice problems for each lesson. You'll find a mixture of easy problems to difficult problems.

You will be able to practice with questions written in different formats (multiple choice, free response, & word problems). This will allow you to improve your test taking skills. We all know that "practice makes perfect" and although no one expects you to be "perfect", practicing will definitely help you succeed!

  • Resource #4: Quizzes & Chapter Tests
  • You will never wonder, "Do I really understand this unit?"

You will be able to monitor your progress through mid-chapter quizzes and a chapter test at the end of each unit.

Similar to standardized tests, you will complete problems written in a variety of formats. You will have multiple choice, free response, and detailed word problems.

  • Resource #5: Step-By-Step Answer Key
  • This is the ULTIMATE Resource! How can you study if you don't know what the end result is supposed to be?

This is the KEY to learning how to solve algebra problems!

Every single problem in this book has a detailed solution to go along with it. Therefore, there is NEVER any question as to if your answer is correct, or where you made your mistake.

If your answer is incorrect, then you can compare the steps from the key to your work, and find your mistake. Once you make a mistake, it's unlikely that you'll do it again!

No more getting frustrated because you've done the problem 5 times, and you still can't come up with the correct answer! You'll know EXACTLY where in the problem you've made your mistake.
You will begin to feel more confident and less stressed as you complete more and more problems correctly. It's like having your own personal tutor to check your answers!

    What People Are Saying...

"I'd like to start off by relaying my sincerest gratitude for your dedication in teaching algebra. Your methodology is by far the simplest to follow, primarily because you take the time to include the small steps in between that most other teachers leave out.

It helps to know why you are doing something. I am 45 and heading to college to get my BS in Business. I need to brush up, hence the visit to your site. Great Job!"

    Jimmy - United States

"I stumbled onto your site after I found out that I needed to use some fundamental algebra for an assignment. Turns out I had forgotten some things and your great site helped me remember them like "that" (snap of fingers). The organization of the site let me find exactly what I was looking for so easily. Kudos to you for maintaining such a great resource for students of all ages!"

    Tom - United States

"I just wanted to write and basically thank you for making such a wonderful website! I'm 20 years old and about to take a basic placement test for college. I wanted to brush up on my Algebra skills and I stumbled upon your site. I'm amazed at how simple you make it and how fast I'm remembering Algebra! I don't remember getting most of the answers right when I had an actual teacher in front of me teaching this. Thanks a lot!"

    Elizabeth - United States

"I am a pensioner living in South Africa. I stumbled on your website, the best thing that could ever happen to me! Your course in Algebra has helped me a lot to better understand the different concepts. Thank you very much for sharing your skills for teaching math to even people like me. Please do not stop, as I am sure that your teachings have helped thousands of people like me all over the world."

    Noel - South Africa

I am a typical parent who hasn't worked with math in many many years. I purchased this 300 page e-book in order for me to be able to help my son as he has been struggling with his honors Algebra. We are reading it together. He uses the computer version and I have the paper version. I am sure this will help both of us. Job well done. I would love to get more of the quick notes especially the last couple of chapters as we are nearing the end of the year. Can you also write an e-book for Geometry over the summer and Algebra 2 for the following year. Oh why not just write one for the next four years of math. :-) Thanks for all your hard and handy work.
