Inequality

The inequality for this problem is:
6000 < x < 10,000

(**Note: the symbol should be less than or equal to - with a line underneath - I'm unable to type that symbol in this application**)

The amount that you can spend is x. So, this reads:
6000 is less than the amount you can spend and the amount you spend is less than 10,000.

Therefore, this shows no less than 6000 and no more than 10,000.

This type of inequality is called a continued inequality.

Hope this helps,
Karin
