Wow! We have a fast typist!

If she can type 240 words per minute, then we can divide: 10000/240 to get 41.67 minutes.

You can set this problem up as a proportion.

words 240 10000
----- ----- = ------
minute 1 x

If you cross multiply you get:

240x = 10000

Then divide both sides by 240.

240x = 10000
---- -----
240 240

x = 41.67 minutes.
